Dr. Carlos I. Lasa, Jr.
Dr. Carlos I. Lasa, Jr. is the only Filipino plastic surgeon ever accepted for advanced fellowship training in cosmetic surgery by the Foundation for Education in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, at the prestigious Institute of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. His mentor, Dr. John Lewis, was the founder and first president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lasa also completed a second plastic surgery fellowship program at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Lasa is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed the residency training program in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.
